My name is Catarina Cordeiro, I’m a PhD candidate in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Portugal, and I’m working on a project entitled ‘Portuguese silversmithing of the 16th Century: A Multidisciplinary Study of Religious Silverware’.
As part of my PhD project, which is currently underway, I formulated an online survey about the conservation and restoration practices adopted by professionals in silver and gilded silver objects, with the aim of gathering more information in this area in different parts of the world.
I would therefore like to ask you, if possible, to share the survey with the members of your association, metal/silver restoration specialists, as answering it will make a significant contribution to the ongoing research.

Completing the survey should take about 15 to 20 minutes. The survey is available in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
